NewsChannel 9 received this response from LA Weight Loss on Friday, August 15. A company employee from the LA Weight Loss Center on Gunbarrell Road tells us they sent the following letter to their clients.

Dear Valued Client,
Thank you for choosing LA Weight Loss program and for letting us help you on your road to weight loss success. We respect your commitment to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. It’s an honor to have taken part in your weight loss journey and we commend your success thus far.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the franchise has made the decision to close this center. We have made every attempt to remain open and provide service as long as possible, trying to stay in order to provide you support and guidance as you reach your weight loss goal. Over the course of the next 30 to 60 days we will be shipping out product once we have received and verified your chart.
We have sincerely appreciated the opportunity to get to know you and to take part in your weight loss journey. For the past eight weeks we have been fulfilling balances and will continue to the best of our ability. During the upcoming weeks, please email us at kkidwell@lanash.com if you have additional questions. Information can also be provided for “LA on the Go,” our online service program.
